Introductions

I started this blog to share the technology I currently use in my classroom.  I am a second year pre-kindergarten teacher working in the state of Georgia. I love my job, but I believe in working smarter, not harder! I work in a two iPad classroom- with twenty-two kiddos, one teaching assistant, and myself all sharing. We’ve had to be creative to make it work, but the iPad is a Godsend. It has made my life so much easier!

The biggest problem I have encountered with the iPads is that in depth reviews for teachers using them in actual classrooms are few and far between. When I have to purchase an app, I want to know that it is going to work as it is intended. I view both the iPads and app purchases as investments and that is not something I take lightly. So I decided to start this blog to share everything I’ve found out throughout this year and hopefully will continue to find new amazing things to share with you all.

For me this is not about quantity, but about finding quality apps and technology that can work in actual classrooms. I am working on my first set of reviews for publication soon! Stay tuned.
